A New Balance Between Architecture and Nature

Opened in 2024, the Hotel Capitolo Riviera is the result of a major renovation and expansion of the Hotel Astor. The project enhanced the original architecture, preserving its identity and fostering its development, while fully respecting the landscape and the local environment.

The designer's main objective was to create a harmonious dialogue between the vegetation and the built environment, achieving a union capable of merging nature and architecture into a unique aesthetic and functional language.

This balance is achieved through cladding systems with fixed panels of CL W 50 and CL W 80 vertical louvers, arranged randomly and with varying spacing across the width of the panels. These panels were installed around the perimeter of the terraces on the top two floors of the hotel, creating a deliberately irregular and dynamic architectural rhythm that lends lightness and movement to the facades.

The result is a building distinguished by its elegance, sustainability, and coherence with the landscape, where every architectural detail contributes to defining a new concept of contemporary hospitality.
