Empordà Golf Resort

The comprehensive renovation of the spa and pool area at hotel Empordà Golf Resort, located in Gualta (Girona), has transformed this space into a contemporary wellness environment where interior architecture, the warmth of materials and visual comfort combine to offer a relaxing and exclusive experience.

Designed by Néstor Mayorgas Coca from Adhoc Arquitectes and built by Atípic Girona, the project has completely renewed the areas dedicated to relaxation and personal care, creating welcoming spaces that convey serenity and a strong connection with the surroundings.

One of the most notable elements of the intervention is the incorporation of the Phalcel U31 ceiling system by Gradhermetic, a solution that provides aesthetic continuity, visual order and excellent integration with the linear lighting of the space. The arrangement of the slats creates an elegant architectural rhythm that enhances the feeling of spaciousness and comfort while contributing to the acoustic quality and premium finish of the project.

The combination of wood cladding, indirect lighting and neutral-toned materials creates a warm and sophisticated atmosphere aligned with the wellness philosophy that defines the hotel's facilities. The result is a space designed for disconnection and relaxation, where every architectural detail contributes to improving the user experience.

Completed in 2024, this project demonstrates how architectural solutions and ceiling systems can play a key role in creating high-quality wellness spaces, combining functionality, design and comfort in a benchmark hospitality environment.
