Educational innovation and architectural design at the service of learning

The new primary education building at the British School of Málaga represents a step forward in the creation of contemporary educational spaces, where architecture becomes an active tool for learning, wellbeing and social interaction.

Located in Málaga, this project was developed by Domingo Corpas Arquitectura e Ingeniería, with the collaboration of Carlos Domingo and Emilio Domingo, for the developer British Education Management S.L. and built by the construction company Opera Severitas.

The building houses 18 general teaching classrooms together with a large multi-purpose hall designed to host sports activities, cultural events and school functions. This functional combination provides the school with great versatility, adapting to the current needs of education.

From an architectural perspective, the project embraces a façade system that combines efficiency, aesthetics and solar control. In this regard, the Gradpanel louvre solutions (T and P Series, models T100 and P120), installed in a fixed frame format, stand out. These louvres not only provide the building with a distinctive visual identity, but also improve interior comfort through the regulation of natural light and protection against solar radiation.

The result is a modern, bright and efficient educational space where architecture and construction technology work together to create optimal environments for the academic and personal development of students.
